About the job

At WorkCover Queensland our vision is to be the best worker’s compensation insurer, to make a positive difference to people’s lives and to keep Queenslanders working.

Our organisation is made up of individuals who collaborate and seek to engage others, working together as One Team. We embrace diversity and value people who bring personal energy and authenticity to everything they do. If you’re someone with a strong values-oriented compass and you want to achieve sustainable outcomes, you will find a great community at WorkCover.

We’re looking for a Manager Organisational Change to join our People Group to lead a team of Change Managers and promote the consistent application of WorkCover’s change management framework and methodology across the portfolio. Importantly, the role will also drive enterprise change capability to ensure WorkCover achieves long-term sustainability of change efforts.

Specifically, this will include:

  • Provide support to change managers and quality assurance activities to ensure all projects have the required change management documents and activities in place at the relevant project stage
  • Design and drive integrated learning solutions to build change management capability across senior executives, leaders and impacted employees (e.g. via our community of practice)
  • Drive the talent strategy for change management, including leading recruitment campaigns and developing the internal talent pipeline
  • Manage metrics to monitor aggregated change impact across the portfolio, track change maturity, and ROI of changes at WorkCover

Desired Skills and Experience

Tertiary qualifications in human resources, organisational psychology, or other relevant fields are required. Prosci certification is highly desirable. Experience leading organisational change efforts is also required, along with relevant knowledge of behaviour change models. A prime prerequisite is the ability to influence stakeholders towards a common goal, the ability to identify and raise change risks, and to operate in an ambiguous, changing environment.

What We Offer

This is a full-time permanent position within the broader People Group. The team is passionate about creating an environment where employees embrace learning, enabling them to grow and thrive during change.

Our work environment at Workcover is supportive and engaging, and you’ll enjoy a hybrid work model, access to personalised learning and development opportunities and the holistic support of our health and wellbeing program, along with industry competitive salaries and study assistance.
