We're looking for a Manager - Transformation Delivery Office to join the Transformation Delivery Leadership Team. 

Specifically, the role is responsible for transforming and leading delivery practice functions across all delivery teams to achieve consistent, continuous, quality delivery, with a focus on strategic alignment, customer value and a maximised flow through: 

  • Establishing the Transformation Delivery office which includes defining roles and responsibilities and standardising methodologies, templates and processes that can scale across projects and initiatives.

  • Support planning activities across the portfolio, including tracking dependencies and milestones.
  • Driving adoption of new delivery practices and establish centralised oversight of project performance. 

  • Maturing delivery practices over time to ensure the Transformation Delivery Office’s ability to support evolving business needs 

About the position: 

Reporting to the Senior Manager- Delivery and participating in the Transformation Delivery Leadership Team (TD LT), the Manager -Transformation Delivery Office will ensure the collaboration across the function to enable our vision to be the best workers' compensation insurer and make a positive difference to people's lives. 

The Manager - Transformation Delivery Office Manager develops and leads a team of delivery office analysts, coordinators and a Delivery Office Lead, to ensure delivery teams have the tools, processes, training, coordination, and reporting needed to succeed, while balancing fit-for-purpose governance, assurance, and visibility. 

You'll contribute to: 

  • Establishing the Transformation Delivery Office, defining roles and responsibilities while standardising methodologies, templates and processes that scale across projects and initiatives 

  • Managing resource allocation, capacity planning and portfolio dependencies while providing day-to-day operational support to project teams across the transformation portfolio 

  • Building centralised dashboards and reporting that consolidate delivery performance, risks, issues and progress into actionable insights for executive stakeholders 

  • Leading training and development programs on delivery processes and tools while driving adoption of new delivery practices and quality assurance standards 

A bit about you: 

  • You have a minimum 12 years of project/portfolio management or PMO experience with at least 10 years managing project management offices, centres of excellence or similar centralised delivery functions 

  • You hold tertiary qualifications in business, project management or similar discipline with certifications in Project Management, Program Management and Portfolio Management (PRINCE2, P3O highly regarded) 

  • You have deep hands-on experience delivering large-scale transformations including digital transformation, operational excellence programs, or enterprise-wide system implementations 

  • You excel at exercising commercial judgment in resource and operational decision-making while fostering trusted relationships with stakeholders and external partners
