We're seeking an Information Release Administrator for an initial 12-month Fixed Term Contract in our Legal and Common Law Group. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing all applications under the Right to Information Act (RTI) and Information Privacy Act (IP), ensuring compliance with legislative requirements while providing expert guidance to the broader organisation.

What You’ll Do

• Process RTI, IP and other information release requests within business and legislative timeframes
• Consult and negotiate with applicants and third parties regarding document access and release
• Provide advice and assistance to internal customers on RTI, IP, administrative and legal access requests
• Assist in preparing compliance reporting and submissions to the Information Commissioner
• Contribute to the development and review of policies and procedures relating to information releases

About You

• Experience undertaking administrative releases under various legislation, including Workers' Compensation and Rehabilitation Act
• Experience with claims and policy databases (highly desirable)
• Highly developed verbal and written communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with varied stakeholders
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact and empathize with customers
• Ability to effectively plan, organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines
• Well-developed computer skills including word processing and spreadsheets
• Ability to interpret and apply relevant State and Commonwealth legislation, policy and procedures
