What You’ll Do

Reporting to the ServiceNow Lead, you’ll play a key role in evolving our ServiceNow ecosystem - designing and delivering platform enhancements that connect people, processes and data. You’ll work across diverse integrations and new capabilities, building scalable solutions, expanding automation and improving user experience. By strengthening platform performance and driving continuous improvement, you’ll help shape the future of Service Management at WorkCover Queensland within a collaborative, growth‑focused digital team.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong experience designing, developing and enhancing ServiceNow applications and workflows
  • Technical proficiency in JavaScript, Glide Scripting, HTML/CSS, AJAX, AngularJS, Apache Jelly and Service Portal/UI development
  • Comfortable working within Agile, SCRUM and SDLC frameworks
  • Experience with API integrations, Flow Designer, Service Graph Connectors and Integration Hub
  • Ability to manage MID Servers across on‑premises and cloud environments
  • Strong problem-solving skills and confidence resolving escalations
  • Clear communicator who can collaborate across technical and business teams
  • Ability to balance priorities and maintain a secure, stable, compliant platform
  • A continuous improvement mindset and a focus on delivering practical value

What You’ll Bring

  • Strong experience ensuring platform security, stability, and high‑performance operations.
  • Tertiary qualifications in IT or a related field
  • ITIL v3+ and strong service management fundamentals ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (essential)
  • CIS: ITSM, with any additional CIS certs a big plus
  • 3+ years’ hands‑on ServiceNow development experience
  • Proven capability across CMDB, CSDM, Virtual Agent, Portals, Flow Designer, Workspaces, Performance Analytics and custom integrations
  • Sharp organisation, planning and communication skills
  • Collaborative, proactive and committed to delivering high‑quality outcomes
