Reporting to the Product Lead, you’ll play an important role in supporting the full lifecycle of our technology products; ensuring they’re well-managed, understood, continuously improved, and aligned to WorkCover’s digital strategy.

About the role

As a Product Administrator, you’ll support the development, maintenance and optimisation of our technology products from concept through retirement. You’ll work closely with business and technical teams, ensuring our products meet user needs, comply with policies, and align with organisational objectives.

This is a hands-on, detail-oriented role suited to someone who loves understanding how things work, enjoys digging into data and documentation, and values the opportunity to improve processes and digital tools that impact thousands of users.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong technical troubleshooting and analytical capability.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex technical information.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with business, technical and vendor stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Sound judgement and decision-making aligned to compliance and risk management.
  • Ability to guide team members and contribute to a positive team culture.
  • User-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality product outcomes.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Tertiary qualification in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration or similar (highly desirable).
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in IT product management, administration or technical support.
  • ITIL Foundation (v3 minimum).
  • Experience with enterprise applications such as ERP, HRIS, Finance or Risk platforms (e.g. Protecht, Technology One).
  • Strong understanding of software development processes and IT infrastructure.
  • Proficiency with project management and IT service management tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse data, assess user needs and inform product decision-making.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain technical matters in plain English.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships, influence stakeholders and coach team members.
