This role sits within the Service Delivery team of the Technology Services and Security Group and is responsible for providing desktop technology services and support for all WorkCover staff. The role works with other technology teams and vendors to provide a seamless delivery on customer requests.  

You’ll contribute to:  

  • Own, drive and deliver the resolution of day-to-day technical issues impacting business services, seeking assistance from other resources and teams as required.  

  • Technical support for software, hardware, printers and meeting room technology 

  • Delivery of desktop services for the organisation including staff relocations and maintenance of mobile device fleet and accessories.  

  • Management of desktop peripherals and stock items including the holistic management of the IT storerooms.   

  •  Develop and document written procedures for dealing with standard requests  

  • Contribute to the effective functioning of Digital and Technology by working beyond the listed key accountabilities to achieve team and broader divisional outcomes.  

  • Be involved in initiatives to continually improve the effectiveness and efficiency of our customer delivery.  

  

A bit about you:  

  • Tertiary Qualification in IT and/or equivalent experience (desirable)  

  • Demonstrate a working understanding of key ITIL v4 practices (Incident, Problem, Change and Service Request)  

  • Knowledge of ServiceNow or similar service management tool will be highly regarded.  

  • Commitment to the provision of an excellent standard of customer service.  

  • Ability to effectively own a support request or incident and work with all related parties to achieve the required outcomes within customer agreed SLA.
