At WorkCover Queensland, we are looking for a Software Engineering Lead to spearhead our team, champion best practices, and lead cutting-edge software solutions. 

You’ll contribute to: 

  • Lead software engineers in designing and delivering enterprise solutions. 

  • Drive technology alignment with business goals through strategic guidance. 

  • Champion best practices in software engineering, cloud infrastructure, and security. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact projects. 

  • Enhance our applications' security, scalability, and efficiency. 

 

A bit about you: 

  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering with enterprise solutions. 

  • Proven leadership in agile delivery methodologies and modern software architectures. 

  • Strong expertise in Java, Oracle, AWS, and API-first development. 

  • Passion for coaching, mentoring, and fostering a high-performing team culture. 

  • Ability to solve complex technical challenges while driving innovation.
