The Opportunity
As a Claims Advisor, you will manage a portfolio of workers' compensation claims and support customers throughout their recovery and return-to-work journey. Working closely with employers, healthcare providers and injured workers, you will play a key role in facilitating positive return-to-work outcomes.
In this role, you will:
• Manage a diverse portfolio of claims, including physical and psychological injury claims
• Build relationships with injured workers, employers, medical professionals and allied health providers
• Make informed decisions by interpreting medical information and applying legislation and policy
• Balance competing priorities in a fast-paced, phone-based environment while delivering positive customer outcomes
About You
• Customer-focused professional with a passion for helping others
• Resilient and composed in challenging situations
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Exceptional administrative skills and attention to detail, with the ability to maintain clear, accurate and timely documentation
• Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to autonomously manage competing priorities
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with experience managing multiple stakeholders
• Collaborative team member who proactively contributes to solutions
• Experience in case management, insurance, health, customer service or relationship management environments
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in health, psychology, business or law are advantageous
