WorkCover Queensland is entering an exciting new chapter, guided by a renewed strategic focus and strong executive leadership shaping our 2030 Strategy. We’re embarking on an enterprise-wide transformation to strengthen our impact and continue making a positive difference in people’s lives.
As a Provider Payments Representative, you’ll help ensure providers and other stakeholders receive accurate, timely and professional support across payment and finalised claim matters. Your work may involve registering and maintaining provider accounts, reconciling discrepancies, processing refunds and payment adjustments, supporting debt recovery, or finalising claims and directing work to claim owners.
You’ll combine careful processing with practical problem-solving. Working to agreed timeframes, you’ll complete manual data entry accurately, identify when information or a payment doesn’t look right and stop to investigate before continuing. Where required, you’ll collaborate with internal teams, including Claims, to resolve issues and protect the accuracy and integrity of provider payments.
You’re a self-driven and dependable processor who takes pride in getting the details right. You’ll be confident managing deadlines, following financial and operational guidelines and communicating professionally with providers and internal stakeholders. Experience in financial processing, payments or provider account management is highly regarded; experience in workers’ compensation, insurance or health services is desirable, and a qualification in business, finance or administration will also be well regarded.
Our vision is to be the best workers’ compensation insurer, making a positive difference to people’s lives and keeping Queenslanders working. At WorkCover, we deliver with heart, own our outcomes, work best together and stay open to what’s possible - and we’re looking for people who share these values
