This pivotal role sits within our People & Strategy Leadership Team and is central to enabling our transformation agenda and long‑term workforce strategy. As a trusted advisor to senior executives, ELT and Board Committees you will guide organisational decision‑making through evidence‑based insights, contemporary reward practices and strong governance frameworks.

You will lead a high-performing function responsible for the enterprise frameworks for performance and remuneration, benefits and recognition organisational job architecture, and predictive and diagnostic workforce insights to enable strategic planning and decision making. This is an opportunity to influence enterprise outcomes, drive innovation and help shape the people systems, structures and strategies that underpin WorkCover QLD’s vision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide enterprise leadership of organisational job architecture, grading frameworks, and salary structures ensuring fairness and consistency of application.
  • Set and govern whole‑of‑organisation remuneration strategy and frameworks that deliver equity, sustainability and market competitiveness. Oversee annual remuneration, incentive and performance cycles, ensuring strong governance and effective executive reporting.
  • Lead the design and governance of the enterprise performance framework ensuring alignment with the corporate strategy and business plans, that enables continuous improvement of a high‑performance culture.
  • Lead the delivery of employee benefits and recognition frameworks that contribute to a best-in-class employee value proposition
  • Establish and mature the organisation’s people analytics capability inclusive of predictive and diagnostic workforce insights, data dashboards and data governance and reporting standards across People systems..
