About the Opportunity

Join WorkCover Queensland in a pivotal 6-month HR Generalist/Case Management fixed-term role. This opportunity places you at the heart of our enterprise-wide transformation, where your expertise in case management—spanning conduct, performance, and health—will be instrumental.

You will provide strategic advice to leaders, guiding them through employee relations matters and ensuring compliance with legislative requirements. Your ability to navigate ambiguity, coupled with your strong communication and facilitation skills, will enable you to build trusted relationships across the organisation. As a pragmatic and flexible HR professional, you will contribute to operational objectives in a manner that positively impacts our people and aligns with WorkCover's values of excellence, integrity, responsiveness, and respect.

What we are looking for:

You will be an experienced, proactive, and adaptable HR Generalist/Case Management professional with a proven track record in end-to-end case management. Armed with tertiary qualifications in human resources and a natural ability to build trust and foster relationships with integrity, you will bring expertise in:

• Managing highly complex employment matters & investigations 
• Providing industrial relations and employee relations advice with the ability to convey legislative requirements in a tailored way. 
• Performance, conduct and health management. 
• Drafting high level correspondence tailored to the audience – ensuring legislative provisions are met.
