WorkCover Queensland is entering an exciting new chapter, guided by a renewed strategic focus and strong executive leadership shaping our 2030 Strategy. We’re embarking on an enterprise-wide transformation to strengthen our impact and continue making a positive difference in people’s lives.
The Opportunity
As a People Operations Advisor, you'll be the first point of contact for HR enquiries, providing timely, accurate and customer-focused support to employees and leaders across the organisation. You'll coordinate a range of people processes, maintain employee records, support governance and consultation activities, and help ensure our HR services run smoothly and efficiently.
Beyond delivering great service, you'll be encouraged to identify opportunities for improvement. By spotting common questions, refining processes and contributing to our knowledge base, you'll help make it easier for employees, leaders and the People Group to find the information they need. This is a great opportunity to gain exposure across the full spectrum of HR while developing your career in a collaborative and supportive team.
About You
You're someone who enjoys being organised, solving problems and helping others. You take pride in providing high-quality administrative support, have a strong attention to detail and enjoy bringing structure and consistency to your work. You're proactive, resourceful and genuinely curious, always looking for ways to improve processes and create a better experience for customers.
You'll also bring:
- Experience in HR, people operations, HR administration or a related environment.
- Strong stakeholder and customer service skills.
- The ability to balance competing priorities while maintaining accuracy.
- A methodical approach to record keeping and administration.
- Confidence navigating policies, procedures and systems to find solutions.
- A continuous improvement mindset and willingness to take initiative.
