The Opportunity

As our Employee Experience & Capability Coordinator, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the experiences that help our people thrive. Reporting to the Senior Manager Employee Experience and Capability, you will coordinate the delivery of employee experience, leadership development and capability initiatives that strengthen culture, enhance employee engagement and build workforce capability across WorkCover Queensland.

This is a varied and highly collaborative role where no two days are the same. You’ll partner with leaders, stakeholders and external providers to deliver meaningful programs and experiences across the employee lifecycle, while continuously improving the systems, processes and insights that support our people strategy.

What You’ll Do:

  • Coordinating and delivering employee experience, learning and capability initiatives aligned to organisational priorities.
  • Managing employee experience events, leadership programs, workshops and learning activities from planning through to delivery.
  • Maintaining learning systems, training resources and capability information to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
  • Developing engaging communications and digital content across Employee Experience platforms, including SharePoint.
  • Providing reporting, insights and recommendations to improve participation, engagement and program effectiveness
  • Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external learning providers to deliver quality outcomes
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance employee experience, learning and capability practices

 

About You

You may have experience coordinating learning and development programs, employee events, leadership initiatives or engagement activities, and you're known for making things happen behind the scenes while ensuring every detail is considered.

You'll thrive in this role if you enjoy building relationships, juggling multiple priorities and bringing a positive, can-do attitude to your work.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Experience coordinating learning and development initiatives, training programs, workshops or capability activities
  • Experience using a Learning Management System (LMS), including managing enrolments, learning records, reporting and course administration
  • Strong event coordination skills, with the ability to organise and deliver engaging employee events, workshops and leadership programs
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with a natural ability to build trusted relationships
  • Confidence using digital platforms such as SharePoint, intranet sites or employee communication channels
  • A proactive and organised approach, with strong attention to detail and a passion for continuous improvement
  • A vibrant, approachable and collaborative style that contributes to a positive team culture
