How we show up for our customers in communications matters

This role leads how WorkCover shows up across its digital communication channels.

You’ll make sure customers can find the right information, understand what they need to do, and complete tasks with confidence.

You’ll own the digital communication channel delivery pipeline, balancing day-to-day publishing with ongoing optimisation and improvement and lead a small team to help get it done.

At its core, this is a product management mindset role. You’ll continually iterate, prioritise and improve our digital communication channels using data, insights and customer feedback. Working with insights, tech and operations teams, you’ll turn what we’re hearing from customers into clear next steps for our platforms (particularly Sitecore).

Build on what’s working and take our digital channels to the next level

You’ll:

  • Establish and embed new ways of working for digital delivery
  • Own the website as our primary digital communication channel, including content, structure and performance
  • Lead SEO and AI optimisation (AEO) to ensure our content is accessible through both search and AI tools
  • Strengthen governance and compliance, including regulatory requirements
  • Use data and insights to prioritise improvements and reduce customer friction

You’ll also provide clear advice to senior leaders, balancing priorities, risks and opportunities to ensure our platforms remain resilient, accessible and fit for purpose.

Your experience includes:

  • Leading digital platforms or communication channels, ideally in a highly regulated environment
  • Managing high-traffic websites and continuous delivery pipelines
  • Strong understanding of content, customer needs, information architecture and analytics
  • Establishing and working within governance frameworks
  • Leading small teams and creating clear, supportive and accountable environments
  • Exceptional cross-team collaboration to drive to a shared goal

You are someone who:

  • Balances strategy with delivery, you can think ahead and get things done
  • Uses data and customer insight to guide decisions
  • Builds strong relationships across teams, including technology, insights and external partners
  • Notices when something isn’t quite right and is comfortable raising it thoughtfully
  • Communicates clearly with a range of stakeholders, including senior leaders
  • Is committed to continuous improvement and open to testing, learning and adapting
