Reporting to the Customer Audit and Intelligence Manager, the Customer Audit Intelligence Lead is a senior role within the Finance Group responsible for leading a team of Compliance Auditors focused on identifying and investigating non-compliant and uninsured employers across Queensland. You'll guide, coach, and support your team to deliver outcomes that drive customer advocacy and advance WorkCover's vision to be the best workers' compensation insurer.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading a high-performing team of Compliance Auditor professionals to deliver responsive and effective compliance outcomes in line with operational performance targets and customer service standards
• Managing the uninsured claim recovery program of work, ensuring timely and accurate outcomes for both the organisation and affected parties
• Personally completing complex premium audits on targeted businesses as a senior practitioner within the team
• Collating, analysing, and preparing data and insights to support reporting to the Executive Leadership Team, Board, and other key stakeholders
• Implementing WorkCover's People Frameworks, ensuring team members have meaningful performance goals, development plans, and coaching support in place
• Proactively managing team workload and leading ad hoc projects to ensure sustainable and efficient compliance delivery

What You'll Bring

• Demonstrated experience leading compliance, audit, or investigative teams within an insurance, financial services, or regulatory environment
• Hands-on experience conducting complex premium or financial audits, with the ability to work independently on targeted cases
• Strong people leadership capability, including performance management, coaching, and team development
• Analytical confidence to interpret data sets and translate findings into clear reporting for senior and executive audiences
• Effective stakeholder communication skills across operational and leadership levels
• Familiarity with workers' compensation legislation or premium frameworks is highly regarded
