As a Senior SharePoint and PowerApps Developer, you will take ownership of SharePoint Online and the Power Platform to deliver secure, auditable, and high-performing solutions that support enterprise information management and workflow automation.
You’ll work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and governance specialists to build modern, intuitive solutions that drive meaningful business outcomes. You will also play a key role in maturing WorkCover’s in-house capability as we transition services from external vendors.
- Lead end-to-end design, development and optimisation of enterprise SharePoint Online and Power Platform solutions.
- Build Power Apps, Power Automate workflows, and governance-aligned automations that support document lifecycle management, approvals, and audit requirements.
- Configure and manage Microsoft Purview sensitivity and retention labels, DLP policies, permissions and access controls.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues, resolve integrations and workflow failures, and proactively stabilise and enhance the environment.
- Audit and improve site structures, metadata, and governance frameworks to ensure scalability and compliance.
- Provide expert technical advice across digital, security, risk, and architecture forums.
- Maintain clear, comprehensive technical documentation and contribute to capability uplift across the business.
- Support the transition of services from external vendors, ensuring continuity, compliance, and alignment with enterprise standards.
What You’ll Bring
- Extensive experience (5-10 years) working with enterprise Microsoft 365 environments, including experience in senior specialist roles
- Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Power Platform, Azure, M365)
- Strong skills in Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint Online, Logic Apps, governance, and integration
- Experience implementing Purview, DLP, retention, sensitivity labelling and audit controls
- Advanced development skills (JavaScript, HTML, REST APIs)
- The ability to lead remediation, optimise environments, and resolve complex operational issues
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication capability
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in IT, Business or related discipline; agile certification highly desirable.
