What You’ll Do
Reporting to the Lead ServiceNow, you’ll play a key role in administering and optimising WorkCover Queensland’s ServiceNow platform. You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day health, configuration and performance of the platform, ensuring it remains secure, stable, compliant and aligned to business needs.
You’ll manage service catalogues, workflows and integrations, supporting data quality and platform governance while partnering closely with ServiceNow developers to deliver enhancements and new capabilities. By coordinating integrations, maintaining catalog items and supporting automation, you’ll help ensure the platform operates smoothly and continues to evolve in line with our enterprise service management roadmap.
Working within a collaborative team, you’ll provide trusted platform administration expertise, support continuous improvement and contribute to a high quality service experience across the organisation.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience administering and supporting ServiceNow applications and workflows
- Hands‑on capability across Incident, Change, Problem, Request, CMDB and Knowledge
- Experience building catalog items, flows/workflows and integrations
- Technical skills in JavaScript, Glide Scripting, HTML/CSS and Service Portal or UI development
- Experience managing MID Servers across on premises and cloud environments
- Comfortable working within Agile, SCRUM and SDLC frameworks
- Confident resolving escalations and driving continuous improvement
- Clear communicator able to collaborate across technical and business teams
- A proactive mindset with a focus on stable, secure and high performing platforms
What You’ll Bring
- Tertiary qualifications in IT or a related discipline
- ITIL v3+ (v4 highly desirable) and strong service management fundamentals
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (essential)
- CIS: ITSM (essential), with additional CIS certifications highly regarded
- Proven hands on ServiceNow administration or development experience
- Experience across Flow Designer, Service Catalogue, Integration Hub, CMDB and automation
- Strong organisation, problem solving and stakeholder engagement skills
- A collaborative, quality focused approach to delivery
