WorkCover Queensland is entering an exciting new chapter, with a renewed strategic focus and strong executive leadership guiding our organisation's 2030 Strategy. We're embarking on an enterprise-wide transformation that will enable us to continue making a positive difference to people's lives and keep Queenslanders working.
As the Manager People Analytics, you will lead the design, development and delivery of advanced data insights that drive strategic workforce decisions, lift organisational performance and strengthen employee experience. This is a critical role within our People & Strategy division, partnering closely with senior leaders across People, Finance and the broader business to ensure the right insights inform the right decisions at the right time.
You’ll combine technical capability, business acumen and strong storytelling skills to translate complex workforce data into clear, actionable insights that support workforce planning, talent strategies, performance management, organisational design and diversity and inclusion outcomes. Drawing on your leadership capability, you’ll build a high‑performing people analytics function and uplift analytical maturity across the organisation.
What You’ll Do
- Lead WorkCover’s People Analytics strategy, including governance, data quality and standardisation of key workforce metrics.
- Design and deliver dashboards, reports and advanced workforce analysis to support strategic business decision‑making.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing evidence‑based recommendations on workforce challenges and opportunities.
- Oversee optimisation of people data systems, HRIS platforms and analytics tools to enhance automation and reporting efficiency.
- Lead, coach and develop a specialist analytics team while building data capability across the broader People & Strategy function.
