We’re seeking compassionate and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Claims Assessors. You’ll play a vital role in determining claims of all injury types, including physical and mental.

What You’ll Do:
• Solve problems in complex, ambiguous situations while staying compliant with legislation
• Manage multiple tasks and hit performance targets without compromising quality
• Deliver clear, transparent claim outcomes - including adverse decisions - by confidently explaining the rationale and ensuring customers understand the process
• Manage and determine claims of all injury types, including; physical and mental - these will vary on levels of severity and the type of injury a customer has
• Engage with stakeholders, build relationships with all parties involved; including employers, the customers and allied health professionals and take accountability
• Balance empathy with objectivity whilst delivering an unfavourable outcome to the customer
• Carry out administrative tasks to ensure all information is recorded correctly and accurately whilst working through the claim

• Applicants with an ability to remain calm, empathetic and professional whilst dealing with heightened conversations
• Resilience is key to succeeding in this role, as not all outcomes are favourable for the customer – leading to heightened conversations
• You will need strong decision-making skills to make liability decisions on personal injury claims and confidence in backing the outcome
