We’re seeking a dynamic learning leader ready to take the helm of one of our flagship training academies — someone who can balance strategy with delivery, pressure with poise, and people leadership with operational excellence.
The Onboarding Lead role is a rare opportunity to shape the learning journey of every new starter who enters our claims function, ensuring they’re confident, capable, and set up for success from day one. What You’ll Do
- Lead a high-performing team of Claims Capability delivery professionals to deliver, contemporary adult focused learning experiences in alignment with design principles and enterprise standards, building the capability of customer- facing team members.
- Develop trusted relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the successful delivery of business-as-usual outcomes and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with peers to calibrate delivery activities and resources to ensure consistency and alignment.
- Collaborate with the Workforce Management team to forecast and schedule learning events.
- Manage the day-to-day team workload and scheduling to ensure consistent delivery against customer expectations.
- Review participant feedback and learning effectiveness measures to identify improvement opportunities relating to delivery of learning events.
- Provide strong people leadership through clear goalsetting, coaching, and development, fostering a values driven and continuous improvement team culture while maintaining accurate records and meeting key compliance obligations
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and development of new team members.
- Implement the resourcing model for Claims Capability Design ensuring sustainable achievement of objectives.
- Provide relevant updates, insights, and support to leadership including backfill for the Manager Claims Capability

What You’ll Bring
- Tertiary qualification in business or similar discipline.
- Background in insurance, personal injury, or another regulated, customer facing environment is an advantage
- Training qualification in adult education - Cert IV in Training and Assessment highly regarded.
- Experience effectively leading a team of learning delivery professionals highly regarded.
- Demonstrated experience effectively managing competing priorities.
- Demonstrated experience building trusted, collaborative relationships with peers and other stakeholders.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience leading customer facing teams in a customer service environment.
