We're seeking an experienced Senior SharePoint Administrator to join our Digital and Enterprise Applications team. In this critical role, you'll be responsible for the effective management, optimisation, and continuous improvement of our SharePoint Online platform. You will deliver secure, high-performing digital solutions that support collaboration, document management, business process automation, and data integration across the organisation.
- Configure, optimise, and sustain SharePoint Online environments, ensuring high availability, security, and performance while providing expert guidance to technical teams
- Build and maintain site collections, libraries, lists, permissions, and workflows, applying best practices to deliver scalable, user-focused business solutions
- Partner with business stakeholders and product owners to design and implement tailored SharePoint solutions that streamline processes and enhance collaboration
- Develop automation, apps, and workflow integrations using Microsoft 365 tools such as Power Automate, Power Apps, and Teams to extend SharePoint capabilities
- Apply deep knowledge of SharePoint governance, security, and compliance frameworks to maintain alignment with organisational and regulatory standards
- Plan and execute upgrades, patches, and migration activities, ensuring stability and integrity across environments
- Deliver training and guidance to uplift users' platform proficiency and adoption
- Identify and implement platform enhancements that drive efficiency and business value, influencing senior stakeholders to prioritise strategic initiatives
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Minimum 5+ years' experience as a SharePoint Online and/or SharePoint Server (2016/2019) Specialist or Senior Administrator in complex enterprise environments
- Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-900, MS-101, or SharePoint-specific) highly desirable
- Deep practical expertise in SharePoint architecture, functionality, and administration
- Advanced proficiency across Microsoft 365 services, including Teams, OneDrive, Power Automate, and Power Apps
- Strong PowerShell scripting capability for automation and administration
- Experience with SharePoint migration and upgrade tools (e.g., ShareGate, Metalogix)
- Well-developed capabilities in advising and influencing senior stakeholders on SharePoint strategy and governance
- Knowledge of information architecture, document and records management, and governance frameworks
- Experience applying ITIL v4 practices within a structured IT service management framework
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in IT, Business or related discipline
