We’re seeking experienced Customer Managers to join our Operations & Technology Group. In this dynamic leadership role, you’ll lead an industry-aligned claims management team to deliver outstanding customer outcomes — supporting injured workers on their journey back to work while achieving sustainable results for Queensland employers and strong business performance outcomes.

What You’ll Do

In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll:

  • Lead, coach and motivate a team to deliver high-quality customer and claims outcomes
  • Manage relationships with a portfolio of industry-aligned customers and stakeholders
  • Provide expert guidance on statutory and common law claims management and premium issues
  • Use data and insights to monitor performance, identify trends and drive continuous improvement
  • Lead your team confidently through change, maintaining engagement, focus and resilience

What We’re Looking For

You’re a calm and confident leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and leads by example. You bring a balance of empathy and accountability — supporting your team to perform at their best while delivering meaningful results.

What You’ll Bring

To thrive in this role, you’ll bring:

  • Experience in a commercial insurance environment — ideally life insurance and/or personal injury claims management (highly desirable)
  • Change management experience, including leading people through change to achieve business outcomes
  • The ability to create a positive team culture that encourages growth and development
  • Proven success in leading teams to achieve goals and build strong, collaborative relationships
  • Strong communication and relationship skills, with the ability to empathise and deliver effective customer outcomes
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines

Working in a collaborative team environment within a supportive and engaged organisation, you’ll enjoy a hybrid work model, access to personalised learning and development opportunities, and the holistic support of our health and wellbeing program.

We offer industry-competitive salaries, a generous superannuation scheme (including co-contribution), and study assistance. You can find out more about our Employee Benefits by visiting Working at WorkCover Queensland.
