We’re hiring for two newly created positions within our Transformation Delivery Office — a rapidly growing function driving strategic change and delivery excellence across the organisation.

These are unique opportunities in the Brisbane market to be part of a permanent Transformation Delivery Office. With newly appointed leadership, strong executive backing, and a clear mandate to uplift delivery capability across WorkCover Queensland, this is your opportunity to be part of one of the most significant transformations undertaken by a Queensland organisation in recent times. These roles will be instrumental in embedding best practice frameworks, enabling delivery teams, and ensuring our transformation programs are executed with discipline, visibility, and impact.

Available Roles:

Lead Delivery Assurance

A strategic and hands-on role focused on strengthening delivery outcomes through governance, assurance reviews, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities & Experience:

  • Lead assurance reviews across active projects to assess compliance with frameworks and governance standards.
  • Provide expert feedback and coaching to delivery teams, balancing support with accountability.
  • Embed and adapt delivery frameworks and playbooks across diverse project contexts.
  • Maintain a portfolio-level view of assurance outcomes, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Facilitate milestone health checks and readiness assessments to proactively manage risks.
  • Drive continuous improvement of delivery artefacts, templates, and practices.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to influence delivery behaviours and decisions.
  • Experience working in a PMO or program management office during transformation is highly valued — bring your insights and lessons learned to help shape our delivery future.
  • This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where your ability to balance governance with practical enablement will be key.

Lead Delivery Tools and Enablement

A technically proficient and operationally focused role that ensures delivery teams have seamless access to standardised tools, templates, and scheduling practices.

Key Responsibilities & Experience:

  • Act as SME for delivery tools (e.g., MS Planner, Power BI, SharePoint, MS Project).
  • Configure and optimise templates, workflows, and dashboards aligned to delivery frameworks.
  • Lead scheduling coordination across projects, ensuring visibility of milestones and dependencies.
  • Provide hands-on support during project setup, planning, and execution phases.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge assets such as guides, playbooks, and quick reference materials.
  • Design, develop and maintain fit-for-purpose reports and dashboards, translating data into timely, actionable insights on project status, progress, dependencies and key risks
  • Drive automation and process improvement to enhance delivery efficiency.
  • Partner with delivery teams to uplift capability and ensure consistent tool adoption.
  • Experience in PMO or tooling enablement roles during transformation is highly desirable — we want you to bring that experience to help us scale.
  • This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment, ideal for someone who thrives on structure, systems, and enabling others to succeed.
