As we modernise our digital landscape, we’re seeking a Manager Disaster Recovery to join our Digital and Technology Group — a pivotal leadership role responsible for safeguarding the integrity and resilience of WorkCover’s technology environment.
Reporting to the Head of Service Management, you’ll lead the development, implementation and continual improvement of WorkCover’s disaster recovery frameworks. You’ll ensure our critical systems recover quickly and effectively, maintaining service to our customers even during times of disruption. Working within WCQ’s business continuity framework, you’ll ensure technical recovery aligns with our business requirement.

What You’ll Do
- Lead the development and execution of disaster recovery and ICT continuity strategies that support business resilience and risk mitigation.
 
- Oversee planning, testing and simulation activities to validate recovery capability and drive continuous improvement.
 
- Provide expert leadership during system outages or disruptions, ensuring rapid and coordinated recovery.
 
- Collaborate across WorkCover and with external partners to enhance recovery frameworks and governance.
 
- Deliver clear reporting and insights to senior leaders on organisational readiness and resilience performance.
 
 
About You

What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience leading disaster recovery, business continuity or operational resilience programs in complex environments.
 
- Strong understanding of ISO 22301 and risk assessment methodologies.
 
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
 
- Strategic leadership capability with a focus on building resilient systems and high-performing teams.
 
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Business or a related field (postgraduate qualifications highly regarded).
