Your primary focus will be rewriting existing policies into user-friendly language and contributing to our upcoming Knowledge Management Project. This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative communicator passionate about making policy simple, practical, and accessible for all.
In this role, day to day you’ll:

- Collaborate on new policy development, ensuring content is clear, actionable, and tailored for diverse audiences
- Play a key role in our Knowledge Management Project, offering fresh perspectives on how content is organised and accessed
- Work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to gather feedback and identify opportunities to improve content
- Innovate and experiment with new ways of delivering policy information that boost user engagement and understanding of compliance

You’re an innovative thinker while operating within organisational structures, always striving to deliver content that is meaningful, practical, and accessible.
You bring a mix of relevant qualifications and hands-on experience, including:
- Skilled in translating complex information into clear, user-friendly content
- Familiarity with claims processes and regulatory frameworks
- Strong writing, editing, and content structuring skills with a focus on tone and accessibility
- Confident communicator with the ability to collaborate and influence across teams
- Experienced in using SharePoint and internal communication platforms
- Able to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work to deadlines
- Comfortable leading content initiatives, facilitating workshops, and supporting strategic communication
- Experience in legal, policy, or technical writing, ideally in regulated or insurance environments (desirable)
- Training in user-centred design or plain language writing (desirable)
- Tertiary qualification in Law, Communications, Policy, or related field (desirable)
