About the Opportunity: Manager, Digital and Enterprise Applications 
WorkCover is entering a new chapter, with a renewed strategic focus and strong executive leadership guiding our organisation's 2030 Strategy. Reporting to the Head of Digital and Enterprise Applications, you will play a critical role in shaping and delivering WorkCover’s digital platforms and corporate applications strategy, ensuring technology drives measurable value for the business. 

This is a delivery-focused leadership role where you’ll guide a team and champion a diverse portfolio of digital platforms and enterprise applications, creating seamless, secure, and optimised experiences for customers and employees. You will influence the evolution of these systems, ensuring they remain fit for purpose, responsive to business priorities, and aligned to strategic objectives. 

You will lead, mentor, and inspire your team, fostering a safe, inclusive, and high-performing culture that encourages growth, innovation, and continuous improvement. You will partner with business and technology stakeholders to enable impactful outcomes, shape initiatives, and represent the leadership team as required, supporting operational excellence while enabling ongoing transformation initiatives. 

About You: 

  • You bring extensive experience in application delivery and management, with a proven track record of leading teams and managing complex enterprise portfolios.  

  • You thrive in people leadership, coaching and inspiring your team while fostering a culture of growth, engagement, and continuous improvement. 

  • You enjoy assessing business needs and translating them into practical technology roadmaps, balancing operational stability, incident response, and the delivery of new features.  

  • You have demonstrated success managing the full application lifecycle, including upgrades, vendor relationships, cloud platforms, APIs, and integrations. 

  • You apply IT service management best practices (ITIL-aligned) and modern delivery methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or SAFe to optimise processes and ensure service excellence.  

  • You are skilled at building trusted partnerships with stakeholders across business and technology teams, influencing outcomes and enabling impactful results. 

  • You hold a tertiary qualification in technology, business management, or a related field. Post-graduate or Agile project management qualifications are desirable, and experience in regulated industries is advantageous.
