Key Responsibilities: 

  • Manage day-to-day interactions with IT suppliers acting as a relationship holder for business-critical suppliers. 

  • Support IT Vendor Management – Operations with supplier inquiries and vendor management. 

  • Manage IT-related invoices and costs, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements. 

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors to address performance concerns and new requirements. 

  • Requirements Management: Work closely with Strategic Procurement and other teams to establish contracts, ensuring compliance with organisational policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements. 

  • Monitor vendor performance against SLAs, conduct audits, and prepare necessary reports. 

  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting vendor expenses and ensure alignment with financial goals. 

 

 What We're Looking For: 

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in vendor and contract administration, ideally within an IT environment. 

  • Strong experience in managing vendor relationships and contract terms. 

  • Proficiency in government contracting frameworks (QITC) 

  • Experience with financial and vendor management software and tools 

  • Strong stakeholder communication skills with the ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate across teams. 

  • Excellent attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to work autonomously. 

 

Desirable Qualifications & Skills: 

  • Relevant qualifications in IT, procurement, or a related field. 

  • Exposure to contract and vendor management within a government/or similar environment  

  • Ability to handle complex issues with a strategic approach.
