In this newly created standalone role, the Technology Business Manager will be a strategic partner, reporting to the General Manager of Technology Services and Security (TSS), ensuring that the function operates efficiently, while aligning with organisational goals. You’ll oversee the financial management, resource planning, procurement, and operational governance, with a focus on delivering high-quality IT services and creating maximum value for our organisation.
As a people-focused collaborator, you’ll build trusted relationships across teams and stakeholders, translating complex technical and financial concepts into clear business language that helps everyone involved understand key decisions. This role is integral to support the delivery of outcomes that are well-balanced, feasible and impactful. Your ability to communicate effectively and drive alignment will be vital to ensuring that the right problems are solved with the right solutions, ultimately contributing to the success of the TSS function.

Managing technology procurement processes, including vendor evaluations, contract negotiations, and sourcing strategies to maximize cost-effectiveness while delivering value.

Developing and managing performance reporting systems, including managing dashboards and KPIs to track resource utilization and measure the success of initiatives, transforming complex data into actionable insights.

Demonstrated experience in financial planning, budget management, and resource optimization within an IT or business environment, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and efficient use of resources.

Proven ability to manage technology procurement, including vendor evaluation, contract negotiations, and cost-effective sourcing to drive value for the organization.

Strong background in performance reporting and governance, with experience developing and managing dashboards and KPIs to track outcomes, monitor performance, and provide actionable insights to leadership.
