We're looking for experienced leaders who are passionate about claims management. 

You’ll contribute to:

  • Lead, coach and mentor a team of about 10 Claims Advisors to ensure that outcomes, performance indicators and objectives are achieved, and the team is engaged and successfully led through organisational change
  • Provide guidance, support and direction to our people and customers on statutory claims management and premium issues
  • Develop, encourage, and drive strategies for improvements in how we work and serve our customers
  • Manage customer feedback and escalations and provide feedback and coaching to team members
  • Work collaboratively with people across WorkCover to achieve great outcomes together

A bit about you:

  • Experience in a commercial insurance environment and/or in the management of personal injury claims
  • Experience leading small to medium teams within a corporate insurance environment 
  • Change management experience including leading people through change to achieve business outcomes
  • Ability to create a team culture that is engaging and allows people to grow and develop
  • Proven ability to lead a team to achieve goals and build mutually rewarding relationships between members
  • Ability to interact and empathise with customers to understand their position and how we can best deliver outcomes for them.
  • A proven ability to effectively plan and think ahead with the ability to organise responsibilities, meet deadlines and maximise work output
