WorkCover Queensland is entering an exciting new chapter, guided by a renewed strategic focus and strong executive leadership shaping our 2030 Strategy. As part of this transformation, we're building a fresh, modern Capability function and introducing newly created roles that will redefine contemporary learning, coaching, and capability uplift across our Claims division.

We’re seeking an organised, proactive team player who thrives in a fast paced environment where no two days look the same. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to build strong business acumen, gain exposure across the entire Claims division, and play a key role in supporting our recruitment, onboarding, and learning activities.

Reporting to the Claims Capability Design Lead, you’ll be at the centre of our operations coordinating people, information, schedules, and events, helping us create a seamless experience for new starters and existing team members. If you’re adaptable, curious, and excited by variety, this role offers a meaningful way to contribute to our transformation while developing valuable skills for your future career.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage new starter administration for the core Claims group (laptops, security passes, system access etc.)
  • Schedule learning activities and events based on input from Workforce Management and Claims Capability Design Lead including booking rooms, organising catering and issuing invitations to participants.
  • Contribute to creating a culture of proactive continuous improvement within the Claims Capability team, seeking ways to enhance processes and deliver better outcomes.
  • Support Claims Capability team with reporting and governance administration.
  • Provide administrative support across the broader Claims Enablement team as required.
  • Perform any other activities as required by the Claims Capability Design Lead to deliver BAU outcomes and/or continuous improvement initiatives, relative to the role.

What We’re Looking For

Most importantly, you bring energy, professionalism, and a willingness to learn — the kind of person who can confidently coordinate activities across the division and contribute to a positive, solutions‑focused team culture.
