Join our dynamic Technology Group as Manager, Change & Transition and play a pivotal role in leading transformational change across our organisation. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced IT Service Management leader to drive strategic initiatives that will shape the future of workplace safety and injury management in Queensland. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead the development and uplift of the Change, Release and Environment Management Frameworks, ensuring alignment to ITIL, audit, risk and XLA principles. 

  • Oversee and govern all CAB and ECAB processes, including approvals, risk evaluation and communication quality. 

  • Ensure all technology changes, transitions and releases are assessed, planned and executed with minimal disruption and maximum user readiness. 

  • Integrate XLA measures (sentiment, satisfaction, experience metrics) into change success criteria. 

  • Drive automation and workflow optimisation within ServiceNow Change Management and JIRA. 

  • Provide leadership, coaching and capability uplift for the Change & Transition team. 

About You 

We’re seeking a strategic thinker with proven experience in managing complex technology change and transition functions. You’ll bring: 

  • A seasoned ITSM professional with 7–10 years’ experience and a strong track record of leading Change, Transition, Release and Environment functions for 4+ years 

  • Strong understanding of ITIL Change, Release, Deployment and Transition Management. 

  • Experience establishing, managing and uplifting Release, Transition or Environment functions 

  • Experience influencing senior stakeholders across technical and business domains. 

  • Deep knowledge of Agile, DevOps and CI/CD delivery models. 

  • Excellent risk assessment, decision-making and communication skills. 

  • Experience in process optimisation and workflow automation. 

  • Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or similar discipline (postgraduate highly regarded). 

  • ITIL certification (minimum Foundation, Professional preferred).
