Join our dynamic Finance team as a Finance Officer and play a key role in delivering accurate, efficient financial operations that support our organisation’s success. What you’ll do

  • Administer and process accounts payable payments efficiently and accurately
  • Perform daily bank reconciliations and investigate suspense items
  • Reconcile corporate card expenditure and assist with month-end processing
  • Support audit processes and maintain compliance with financial policies
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Finance team – challenging ideas and ways of doing things to drive better outcomes
  • Review and code invoices to the general ledger

 

A bit about you

You’re detail-oriented, proactive, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You combine strong technical skills with a collaborative mindset, ensuring accuracy and compliance while building trusted relationships across the organisation.

You’ll bring:

  • 3 + years’ experience in accounts payable, bank operations and general ledger processes
  • Proficiency in financial systems (TechnologyOne experience desirable)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a complex environment
  • Excellent communication skills and a commitment to teamwork
  • Knowledge of GST and FBT legislation and basic accounting principles
  • Insurance / Financial Services industry experience (desirable)
