As part of our Technology team, we’re transforming how we work and moving beyond traditional service delivery to create a digital workplace that empowers productivity and satisfaction.

We’re looking for a Manager Desktop Support who is passionate about uplifting user experience, not just providing a service. This is a leadership role where you’ll inspire a team to deliver high-quality, customer-focused technology outcomes that make a real difference.

What you’ll do

  • Lead the Desktop Support function, delivering exceptional service experiences that prioritise user satisfaction and reliability.

  • Drive the evolution of our digital workplace strategy, ensuring devices, collaboration tools, and mobility solutions meet business needs.

  • Oversee proactive maintenance, lifecycle management, and optimisation of end-user devices and collaboration platforms.

  • Champion modern endpoint management practices, including automation, remote management, and patch governance.

  • Collaborate across teams to resolve recurring issues impacting productivity and enhance user engagement through innovative solutions.

  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure cost-effective, resilient services aligned with organisational standards.

  • Contribute to the IT Service Management Leadership Team, supporting BAU outcomes, continuous improvement, and transformation initiatives.

What we’re looking for

You’re a hands-on leader who knows great technology starts with people. You lead by example—visible onsite, approachable, and ready to roll up your sleeves when needed. You inspire your team to deliver reliable, customer-focused solutions and guide them through change while maintaining operational excellence.

  • 5–7 years’ experience leading Desktop Support, Digital Workplace, or End User Computing functions in a Microsoft enterprise environment.

  • Strong knowledge of ITIL v3/4 service operations and practices.

  • Expertise in Microsoft technologies including Windows 10/11, Intune (Endpoint Manager), M365 suite, Microsoft Entra ID, Autopilot, and patch management.

  • Demonstrated success improving user satisfaction (CSAT/XLA), automation, and endpoint reliability.

  • Experience managing endpoint security, compliance, and collaboration technologies.

  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and foster a culture of service excellence.

  • Tertiary qualification in IT or related discipline; ITIL v3/4 Foundation certification required
